Sunny Day 6 On 6 Volleyball Tournament to Benefit Friends of Austin Animal Center

When: Saturday, June 13th, 2015 (9am-4pm)
Where: Zilker Park Volleyball Courts – 2100 Barton Springs Road
Who: Registration open to 16 and older
**Competitors under the age of 18 must have signed parental consent **
Cost: $180 per team
We are accepting team registrations up until the day of the event.
You may have as few as 4 and up to 10 registered team members but only 6 may be on the court at a time.
***Two females must be on the court at all times.
Tournament Details
Morning check in / registration: 8:30AM - 9:00AM
Team captain must check in at registration table to pick up their team's swag bag, t-shirts, and to turn in release of liability waivers signed by each member of their team.
Morning pool play: 9:00AM - 12:00PM
Teams will be separated into pools for round robin play. You will play every team in your pool to determine your team's seeding for the afternoon single elimination tournament. Match winners will be the first team to reach 25 points in a single game format with rally scoring. Must win by 2, cap at 27.
Lunch Break: 12:00PM - 12:30PM
At the conclusion of morning pool play, we will have a short break for lunch and demonstrations from local dog training experts. AFTERNOON SINGLE ELIMINATION TOURNAMENT WILL BEGIN AT 12:30PM
Afternoon Single Elimination Tournament: 12:30PM - 3:30PM
Afternoon play will consist of a single elimination tournament. Your team will be seeded based on its performance in round robin play. The final match to determine the Sunny Day 6 on 6 Tournament winner will be a best of 3 game format. The first 2 games will be scored to 25, must win by 2, with a cap of 27. The third game, if necessary, will be scored to 15, must win by 2, no cap.

- Demonstrations from local dog training experts
- On site advice from local veterinarians
- Opportunities to bid on and win fabulous raffle items
- Sweet tunes and a chance to converse with like minded individuals
